It's Vacation Time

Summer is here and there are employees needing vacations and PTO.  For many of your companies, the employees have been sequestered in their homes due to Covid fears for the past two years.  This year it seems “all systems are go” to explore the great outdoors – camping, hiking, biking, scuba diving, swimming, or climbing. But for a unique experience, check out these vacation spots:

Lighthouse

How about spending the night in a working lighthouse?  Pretty unique, but space limited so get reservations.  The lighthouse was built around 1894 and can you imagine the views?  Check out Heceta Head Lighthouse in Cape Cove, Oregon.

Queen Mary

In 1967 the Queen Mary retired as an ocean liner. Located in Long Beach, California, the Queen Mary is now a floating hotel. Plenty to do in the area for families – put this one on your bucket list for the summer.

Deep Sea

Jules’ Underwater Hotel, located in the Key Largo Undersea Park, features what may be the unique atmosphere for a family vacation. Ever had pizza delivered by a scuba diver? Didn’t think so! Since it is down in the keys you can expect sunshine year-round and the ocean promises swimming, scuba diving, shelling, and sand castles.

 

Our team made it back safely from the SHRM 2022 Conference in New Orleans.
