DISASTER RECOVERY:
On 4/24, Pipkins redundant network facilities were engaged as a massive fiber cut was experienced by one of our Internet Service Providers. This outage occurred on Pipkins’ corporate headquarters network in Saint Louis which is completely independent from customer traffic. All redundant systems performed as designed, so no lost traffic or interruptions were experienced.
Focused 6.0 Development
Two of our testers are concentrating on SwiftPik functionality. About 80 tests have been performed since testing began last month, with 52 of those completed in April. Those functions with issues or potential issues have been identified and are sent back to developers. After the exploratory tests are completed, a more formal test plan will be produced. Our development methods are compliant with our ISO 27001:2013 certification.
TRADES AND GIVEAWAYS
Trades and giveaways have been our main focus this month in development. We don’t have any big news other than it will be a couple of week before it can be completed and submitted for testing.
E-Smart
In E-smart we have been focusing on creating hot key edits. The below screenshot shows how you easily can extend a schedule by selecting Ctrl+Alt+E.
Pressing Delete on your selection will allow you to snip the time out of the schedule.

Jack Monshausen
Jack Monshausen joined the Pipkins testing team the last week of March.
Jack is a Software Engineer with experience in Cyber Security. He studied Computer Science at Xavier University in Cincinnati. He has had multiple internships that have dealt with Web Development.
Outside of work, Jack rock climbs and enjoys the outdoors, he cannot wait to get back to The Red River Gorge.
