WEB ACCESS V5.43
The development team at Pipkins have been working hard getting Web Access and Vacation Planner/Absence Manager to become browser independent, fixing bugs that accompanied this independence, and working to improve the look and ease of use.
Web Access received updates regarding the visual enhancement of menus, color schemes, screens, and navigation. Of particular significance, Web Access is now browser independent. The Vacation Planner/Absence Manager no longer requires the use of Windows Internet Explorer. Web Access is fully operational in these browsers: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

A Short Note from Dr. Pipkins
Over the last few years almost all our testing efforts, along with the required development efforts, have been to remove our product’s dependency on Internet Explorer. These efforts have culminated in our 5.43 release. We are now moving forward to transitioning parts of our 6.0 release into test. The first set of features to go to test are a unified login, eSmart, Automated Editing, and SwiftPik. SwiftPik will include an Absence Planner, an Availability sign up screen, a Schedule Confirmation button, and a new module to schedule trades and give-a-ways. With the successful testing of the features listed above, we will begin the next phase of testing in the second quarter. Our focus at that time will be on Interactive Forecasting and Integrated Chat.
We will be doing monthly newsletters that will contain the progress on testing along with discussions on the features to be found in 6.0. We hope you will follow along with these newsletters to keep you up to date on our progress. It would also be much appreciated if you would provide feedback as we move along.
