A “Fly-By-Night” for over 35 Years

 

We’ve been a fly-by-night for over 35 years. The little company that could, and does, for over 35 years is turning 36 this summer.  Still under the same founder, still made in America, still used throughout the world, and still evolving to provide the best WFM system — ever.  We serve some of the largest businesses with our products as well as some of the smallest.  We survived those competitors that started in the 80s with us – no buy outs, no bankruptcies. Not sure where they are today, but we’re still here in St. Louis operating under the same name. We appreciate your faith in our products, and we are looking forward to our next 35 years.

A consequence of being around for 35 years, is going through ups and downs of business. One byproduct of this longevity we are most proud is the quality and loyalty of our core staff. Nine employees have been with us for 25 years, one for 35 years. These seasoned employees run the show and for good reason – they have seen just about everything. Dennis and Steve in the UK offices, and Jim in the St. Louis headquarters have encountered almost every scheduling scenario that exists.

With about 75 years of experience between them, our customers can rest assured that their scheduling, forecasting, or absence management issues can be appropriately resolved. Our IT senior staff is second to none. Joel and Don are unbelievably bright, reliable, and energetic. Jim, Jennifer, and Stacy know our system inside and out as they have developed and tested our products over the years. Janet is still the stabilizing force that keeps us centered – and she knows where the bodies are buried.

We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the above who had faith that Pipkins was a worthy endeavor to hook their careers onto and rejected the idea that we were a fly-by-night company. Our thanks go out to all our employees who have worked to make Pipkins products so robust and versatile that they meet the needs of our customers rather than forcing our customers to meet our design. Here’s to the next 35 – cheers!
