Web Agent Viewing and Empowerment

PIPKINS introduces Web empowering capabilities in the latest add-on module to Maxima AdvantageŽ. WAVE™ (Web Agent Viewing & Empowerment) allows agents to view and modify their schedules over your corporate network with a standard web browser (Netscape version 4.x or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or greater required). An agent can log in from anywhere and view upcoming scheduled attendances. Each agent is granted WAVE access after verifying that agent's unique login ID and PIN number. WAVE consists of the following functionality:
  • Viewing of individual agent schedules
  • Agent schedule modification requests
  • Messaging system for notification of schedule change status, or user messages
  • Electronic bulletin board system for posting trade requests, or user messages
  • Supervisor access to approve or make schedule changes
Schedules can be viewed in several convenient forms: daily, weekly, or monthly. You can navigate easily between schedule formats with a mouse click; using drill-down information expansion features that make schedule management as intuitive as possible. Schedule reports also expand to full screen view at the click of the mouse.

DAILY SCHEDULE. The daily schedule view is handy for checking your up-to-the-minute schedule. An agent's schedule can be viewed for any single day at a time. Simply point and click on the calendar to navigate to any other day of the month or change months.

WAVE was developed to lessen the amount of administrative overhead, and empower the agent to retrieve schedules, eliminating costly paperbound schedule distribution schemes. Access to agent's schedules has never been easier, creating a paperless environment. There is no longer the need to print and distribute schedules for hundreds of agents!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE. The weekly schedule report lets you preview any range of schedules in a weekly format.

MONTHLY SCHEDULE. The monthly schedule report lets you preview any range of schedules in a monthly format and is convenient for printing schedules.

In addition to allowing agents to view their schedules online, WAVE includes functionality to allow agents to request schedule modifications or trades. An agent can request changes to any upcoming schedule: a later starting time on a Monday, or vacation planning in advance. Requests are automatically routed to a supervisor, who must then approve the change before it can be incorporated in the schedule. Trades can be negotiated between individual agents or posted to a bulletin board easing the negotiation burden on supervisors. Agents can also view their complete configuration information and utilize a messaging and bulletin board system for communication of schedule status information or user messages. Most features can be enabled or disabled.
